In fact I already read it twice, and I’m sure I will never get bored if I will read it again for the third time. When I read the book, I just kept on laughing and imagining that I am reading my own experiences in life. I think ABNKKBSNPLAko?! is better off to remain in the pages. It’s like they don’t want to miss a single detail in the book so the seamlessness of the plot was compromised. But, the movie was plain, much like “what you is what you get.” The movie does not tickle your imagination, meaning, it has no depth at all. Bob Ong’s personal encounters in school and being in love for the first time are the center of the film, which some of us can relate to.

The movie somehow justified the focus of the story, nostalgia of the 80’s and 90’s.

It is my favorite book of him, and I’m sure that if I will ever watch this, I will just keep on comparing the two. When I found out that Bob Ong’s epic book ABNKKBSNPLAko?! was adapted into a movie, I was sceptical about it.
