The plan involves killing 90% of human men and establishing a new Eden, where Akasha would be worshipped as a Goddess. She offers to the gathered vampires the opportunity to become her angels. Confronting the gatherers at Maharats compound Akasha describes to the attendees her plans for the new world order. Gathered at her compound are characters from book one of the series.īook 4 introduces the character Akasha. The story reveals the life of the red-haired twins, who are actually Maharat and her sister Mekare. Jesse a member of a secret society and a relative of Maharat is injured at the concert and taken to the home of Maharat in Sonoma and while there is turned into a vampire as well.īook 3 in the series (also adapted to a movie in combination with book 4), the story is now being told by Maharat, in her home in the Sonoma forest. The story unfolds at a concert hosted by Lestat and the introduction of Maharat and Jesse. Again the story weaves and turns by the events in Lestats life. Lestat continues his story with the inclusion his turning of his best friend Nicki into a vampire and Nicki’s own kidnapping. Lestat recounts his beginnings in France and his entering the dark world in Paris, after being kidnapped by the vampire Magnus, (played by Antonio Banderas in the movie Interview with a Vampire). Into this story enters different accounting of events between the 2 storytellers. The series continues with the narration of their lives together by Lestat.
Through a number of twists and turns the child vampire Claudia, (Kirsten Dunst) enters the picture and together the trio, led by Lestat plunge deeper into the world of Vampires. Lestat (played by Tom Cruise) introduces Louis to the world of Vampirism. Louis (played by Brad Pitt in the movie Interview with a Vampire) a New Orleans plantation owner was suffering from the death of his brother.
He also introduces the child vampire Claudia into his story. Louis chronicles his meeting of the Vampire Lestat and the ending result of Louis becoming a vampire. The series begins with Interview with a Vampire, Louis de Pointe du Lac tells his 200 year life story to a young reporter (played by Christian Slater). The series focuses on the characters Lestat de Lioncourt, Louis de Pointe du Lac and the child vampire Claudia. The series is rich in development and suspense
